Does anyone have any recommendations for embroidery thread to make bracelets? (a kit is preferable) I have a set of embroidery threads from daiso however it splits and the strands come apart very easily.

I use the thread of "folia", but I think there are also better ones 😄

amazon is a great place for embroidery floss! They have tons of kits that have the string already wound on to bobbins and even have a case. I have a tiktok where I review a lot of amazon brands if youre interested. My username is squishlikestoknot

DMC is probably the most common brand of embroidery floss in the US (though I think it's also available in most other countries). You can buy it at Michael's or online. Unfortunately, you can only find it in packs sometimes, more often it's just the individual skeins.

i have had excellent experience with thread from aliexpress. it can be bought in large mixed packs (great for starting out) or you can request specific colours, plus it is much cheaper than DMC 🙂 i haven't seen kits, however you can buy everything separately. the items that you will typically need are:- embroidery floss - tape - a sturdy safety pin or paperclip optional things that make life easier are: - a clipboard or a bulldog clip - embroidery floss thread holders - storage for your thread and/or finished bracelets |
