How do you change colors when the knot is on the edge of your alpha without the straight edge technique?

You just do a regular colour switch, not a flat alpha colour switch.If you do the straight edges technique or not doesn't really matter. |

i just place the previous string underneath my base string (the one on the edge) and knot the new colour normally (forward backward or backward forward) if it makes sense !
