some alpha patterns that could be good for beginners: #4847 #87658 #31204 #58710 #35638 or a simple alpha using a font pattern 😊 hope this helps! |

@Connormae to use a font that is used in one of our patterns, you would need to copy the letters manually.If you want to post the pattern, keep in mind that we no longer accept simple word patterns. If you want to post a word pattern, you have to add some kind of decoration that is both unique and complex. In the alpha pattern generator, you can also use "write alpha" which lets you pick one of three pre-set fonts or you can use "alpha from font" which lets you use a font file which you can download from a website for fonts. When using "alpha from font" the pattern will most likely look a little messy, so you'll need to tweak it in "draw alpha". The rule on simple word patterns also applies here. |

@Sage160769 you can find dowels in craft stores, but you can also use skewers, popsicle sticks, sticks you find in nature or any other sticks you like. Keyrings can also be found at craft stores.
