Do you start you alpha with an extra string for your leading string or do you use the same strings in the patten?

I recommend watching MashaKnots video on the flat alpha technique. It answers most of the questions you might have about alphas.In alphas you need base strings onto which you are knotting with your leading strings. The amount of base strings is one less than the amount of strings given in "strings". You also need one leading string per colour. |
