This is a page for friendship bracelet patterns. There are two types of patterns: normals and alphas. Both can be made into friendship bracelets using different techniques. Some people crochet the alpha patterns, so I assume you are talking about them.

To find a normal pattern, go to "patterns", set "type" to "normal" and enter in "keywords" what you are looking for.

Here are a few searches that might have the results you are looking for:

You're welcome 😄

Actually alpha patterns can be knotted too. The technique is just a little different from knotting normal patterns.

If you want to learn how to knot them, you can check out MashaKnots' YouTube video on the flat alpha technique.

Due to their structure some people crochet them, use them for cross stitch or perler beads, but the original "purpose" of them is to be knotted.

If you want to start off with something simple, I'd recommend doing an alphabet alpha (e.g. #63691) or something with only 2-3 colours, so you get used to how to make them without stressing over colour changes. Maybe try #38672, #5248, #60503 and #36093 once you've got your head around how to change colours 🙂

There are lots of good tutorials on youtube that explain the basics of alpha bracelets, e.g.
