Hi,

I'm a newbie seeking assistance from an expert. During a recent weaving class that I was unable to complete, I learned how to make a bracelet, but didn't get to finish it. It starts with two separate pieces with 24 strings each, for a total of 48 strings (6 repeating colors 8 times) in a chevron pattern then joins together using 24 strings (12 from each bracelet) to make a diamond in the center, and unfortunately, I don't know what to do next.

The tricky part is that the sequence for the 24 strings used to make the diamond has reversed.

Can anyone provide guidance on what would be my next step next? Any and all tips are greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Greig

You would need the pattern your class was following, what type (alpha, normal) or something close to it, the specific progress point your on in that pattern. And to decide how you want to finish it. There are a lot of tutorials for finishing bracelets out there. Check the patterns section for a pattern similar or exact to the one you used.

Hi Tikana,

Thanks so much for your speedy response. The teacher who led the class didn't provide a pattern. The teacher was just giving instructions slowly as we progressed with the bracelet.

Thanks,
Greig
