Can you do I linked loop for pattern #33677? I wanted to do a teardrop loop but I'm unsure how since the colours are not equal on both sides.

Whether or not you need a linked loop depends on where you plan to start the pattern. You can do a regular teardrop start with the bottom point being the white center knot on row 8, then the colors are actually even... 3 blue 3 red and 2 white on each side. But if you start the pattern further down with the center point at row 16, then a linked loop would be appropriate since at that point the same colors have shifted to be on the same side. I personally think that pattern would have a better flow at the first starting point though, and you can still make the loop 2 or more different colors if you want by just knotting around it with different threads 😊 |
