Is it a normal or an alpha pattern?

For a normal pattern, you just need to count how many strings there are of each colour. You can do that best at the very beginning of the pattern.

For an alpha pattern you need base strings (one less than the amount of strings given at the top, colour doesn't matter) and leading strings (one string per colour used in the pattern).

I’m actually not quite sure, all i know is it’s a clueless 14 string pattern i’ll try to to see if it’s normal or alpha

I assume it's an alpha pattern because of the level of details. Do the strings go in horizontal and vertical lines in it or do the go in diagonal lines? You can also tell me the pattern number.

In any case, I would recommend first watching a video on that pattern type before starting to make your first bracelet.

It's this one, right? #130730

That's an alpha. You need 13 base strings of any colour (I recommend pink) and 2 leading strings (one white, one pink).

I recommend to watch MashaKnots' video on the flat alpha technique before starting to knot.
