Help in alpha bracelets

Hey, i am a newbie when it comes to alpha bracelets and ive just made my first but in some part of it i can see the base string and idk how to fix it, ive tried tying it harder but it doesn't ways work. More importantly i also have the same problem when doing triangle ends in alpha patterns 😭 ive tried tying it harder a couple of times but you can still see the base string when i do triangle ends, do any of you have any advice or is it just a sign i need to practice more???

Try pushing the rows up or pulling on the base strings a little. And also practice, practice, practice...

I am new to the alpha patterns and would like to make a bracelet of 13x61 dimensions 14 strings and 7 colors. How can I best start with this. I think I once read that you then need 13 wires and you need the 14 wires for the beginning is this correct and how should you use the new color thanks in advance
