how long does it take for a picture and a video to show up on your profile?

Mods are usually able to review content in under 24 hours but that time does vary. Once your photo and video have been reviewed they will either be accepted or declined, if accepted they will then appear on your profile.

It doesn't take that long. They will review your photo, and it will show up on your profile after 24 hours if it is accepted. It also depends on your time zone, but if you don't see your photo on your profile after 24 hours, it was because it was declined. You will usually get a notification telling you why it was declined, but if you don't get a message, you can message a moderator and ask.
