My base strings are too short to continue my alpha but im over 25% done, what do I do?

What I do when this happens is I double knot more string to it (cut the base of those excess short) when tying with that string be careful until you pass the knot. When you get to the knot it might look a little different but won’t have significant difference This is what I do to my normal bracelets, because you are doing the same knot it should work the same. |

Thank you @SweetKeeks for the help, I was able to continue my alpha! It's the tagalong keychain that should be in my gallery. @madys_acc I for sure did the same thing, it's so stressful!
