So I am new to bracelets and I’m just wondering How long should you’re string be? How long should the pattern be? And if I do a braided end/start how long should that be? |

hello! i like to make my strings the length of when i spread my arms as wide apart from eachother and the length of the pattern is more personal preference, i usually stop the pattern when it covers more than half my wrist. for braided ends/starts i recommend making them between 8-10cm so itll be easier to tie on (:

i agree with the person above! usually measuring the strings using your wingspan is good. this should also give you enough string to have the pattern go fully around your wrist

Hello !I personally use one wingspan for one string ! (don't forget to measure two if you fold your string in two at the beginning of the bracelet). For the length of the bracelet, I usually knot until it is around 12 or 13 cm long ! |

Forgot to reply about braided ends or starts!I personnally make braids at the ends AND at the starts (then I do some macrame knots, so the size of the bracelet can change) With one wingspan, it's alright for this ! |
