I am new to alpha bracelets so this may be too difficult to start with.
But I’ve got the triangle end figured out no big deal and I’ve watched Masha Knots a bunch but I’m not understanding this particular pattern in how to carry the grey from one side to the other and how the vertical stripes of color connect?
It’s one knot of grey, then 3 purple, then 3 blue, etc and ends with 1 grey again and then back the other direction but how does it not just end up like 6 mini (3 knots wide) colored strips until you get to the Dino?

I’m guessing I’m not changing color correctly and that’s the problem but I can’t find a video for this type of bracelet.

Thanks for any help/guidance

Hey! You should watch a few videos on the flat alpha technique and the straight edge technique, I think both are shown in Masha’s “alpha tips and tricks” video where she makes the space alpha and watch the “color changes on alpha edges” video . The grey string just gets pulled across the back, so you just want to ensure you aren’t pulling it too tightly when you make the grey knots because it will cause your bracelet to bend.

I have one more recommendation: for the grey use two instead of one leading string, one for each side. This way you don't have to cross it over the complete back and you are saving lots of string.

Lulu_Ninja - I will watch those again! I was pulling across the back but was confused because I was definitely pulling too tight and kind of “losing” those knots on the edges.

Halokiwi - I was wonder if I could use one on either side or if that would make it mess something up. I’ve got some ideas now. And will be watching more videos!
