gaps in bracelets

I’ve noticed in a lot of bracelets I’ve been marking that there are gaps which makes the pattern look off, Is it the kind of string I use?

Make sure your knots are all tightened as tightly as one another. There shouldn’t be knots that are loose but some that are tight. Having said that, make sure your knots aren’t too tight. Also, use the same types or brand of string when creating a bracelet.

Also make sure you keep a tight tension when creating first half of the knot in particular.
