I’m looking to purchase off of Amazon cause I’ve been using Walmart string and I’m looking to get better quality but I don’t know which one I should buy? I seen a recommendation from @allthingsstring but I can’t use my gift card to purchase it (idk why) it’s also in the states. I use Amazon Canada btw PLEASE LEAVE RECOMMENDATIONS OR LINKS😭😭😭

Anything marketed for hand embroidery should work well. Definitely look at the reviews and see the quality and texture of the strings and see if that works for you

im also from canada and the string that i buy from amazon by the brand ‘SUMAJU’ works nicely and it is pretty cheap for 50 colours (:

J'utilise du dmc en coton ou mouliné et ils sont très bien le mouliné à déj cassé donc à conseiller le coton 🙂

DMC is nice and carried at most craft stores and in places like Walmart but you generally have to buy singles. If you’re looking to find a larger bulk pack loops and threads is decent and you can pick it up at Michael’s and sometimes, depending on the Walmart, there as well, same as j&p Coates. My Walmart seems to mostly be selling ‘friends forever’ which will do the job but pills a lot and I’ve not repurchased and don’t plan to. I am also in Canada, but I don’t buy string off of Amazon. Those brands however would all work well if you can find them on there!

make sure to check out michaels, joanns, ac more, or any craft store will most likely have a wide variety of embroidery floss! Walmart or target will work too!

michaels has their embroidery brand string, and shein has low priced softer string!
