hello! im planning on attempting to make my first alpha soon and was wondering if using thin yarn would work for an alpha base?

Yes, thin yarn will work great as base strings! Good luck on your first alpha!

You can use pretty much whatever type of string/yarn you want for the base strings so that should be fine.I will warn you though that I have had problems in the past with yarn snapping whilst I'm working with it so just be wary of that. I hope your first alpha goes well! |

Yes of course you can. 😉 I've noticed, that some yarns just look thinner / thicker but form the same size knots as with normal thread you use for your bracelets and you can use the yarn for your normal bracelets too, but you have to just practice 😘

@annikabchb i watched the same video and the method used to change colours works for me! just make sure not to get your strings confused and do the correct knot needed

@annikabchb what exactly are you confused about? If you can try and explain what's going wrong I may be able to help.
