What is a good average length to cut strings, I usually do around 65 inches for mine, but it never seems like enough?

For a normal size pattern (like 8-16 strings) I do my wingspan which is about 2 meters/yards (so about 72 in. roughly) but for slightly larger patterns I’ll add half my wingspan onto that. It’s also important to note that you can add strings into a normal pattern the same way you do an alpha, so if one (or more) of your strings do end up being to short you can always replace it with another

I usually cut around 90cm (180 cm if I fold it in half). The amount of strings does not matter btw, what matters is if you do more or less knots than average with a certain string. If you do more knots, you need to cut more strings, if less, then you need less. |

For normals I roughly measure my wingspan, for alphas it’s how ever long you want the finished bracelet (INCLUDING TIES!)
