A 1-2-1-2 patten is made up fully or mostly of backwardforward and forwardbackword knots. Hope this helps! 🙂 |

Check if there is any possible way to easily segment knot the pattern. If there is no way to segment knot the pattern, it's considered a 1-2-1-2 pattern. I'd say it's not just limited to forward-backward and backward-forward knots!

@Czyczy that is not true. Like previous people said it's a pattern with only (or mostly) fb and bf knots.
