How do I pick DMC colors based on the patterns on this site? I know I can add variations and see the hex codes but they don't match exactly. Do I have to just eyeball it?

I think there are lists online with which dmc colour matches which hex code. You could try finding a list like that.

I normally eyeball it, and sometime I ask my mom 😂 But sometimes just picking random colours make the perfect colour combo! Something that I like to do is see different shades of colours and most of the time they look good together. Its hard to explain but I hope this helped!

Thanks for the help, everyone! I really appreciate it. My biggest concern is for things like pokemon, they have known colors, so I have to be as close to them as possible or it doesn't look right.
