I want to make bracelets for some of my family, and wondered what a good bracelet length would be before the toes at the end. Any general size suggestions?

Are you asking how long you should make the actual bracelet, or the string lengths? If it’s the bracelet length, as long as you have a loop and strings at the end it can be tied, and for the string lengths you can use the length of your arm or one arm to the other (like a T)

I like to do a wingspan ( From on arm to another) If someone in your family has a smaller wrist then measure your wingspan out and fold the string in half. Its hard to explain. Maybe you could watch a youtube video if this was hard to understand lol

I have found that making bracelets 6 inches or so long works well and fits most people's wrists comfortably. When cutting string, go with a legnth that is comfortable to work with, as too long can cause tangles if you're not super careful. How much string is used by the bracelet depends on the pattern and how loose/tight your knots are, so it'll change for everyone. Don't be afraid to tie in more string if you are running out.
