how to not have messy bracelets?

so i’ve been making bracelets for a few years now but am just starting to try out patterns through bracelet book. my only problem is often times i end up with a very crooked bracelet or like wiggly bracelet or one with lots of holes in it or both. i cant see to get them to look fully right and i end up wasting a lot of string because of it. does anyone have any tips that could help me?

I am still a beginner, but I had this problem too. What helps me is keeping the bracelet itself very straight and in the same position throughout the entire thing. Also, make sure you have the same knot tension in the whole bracelet so its not uneven anywhere. You also end up using a lot less string this way and your bracelets look much neater. Hopefully this helps!
