Hil! So I just got Covid and I couldn't work onbracelets while I was sick, so now I'm in a slump. This is a really big problem for me because I'm doing a craft fair and need to make lots of things and I'm about to be really busy and not have much knotting time so I need to get out of this ASAP. Does anyone have any recommendations for how to get out of a slump or any easy, interesting patterns to help me get back into knotting? Thank you so much!! Bye!! |

Hello! This probably won't help with the actual slump, but I do have some recommendations for completing more bracelets in a short amount of time (before the fair)... You could try working on bracelets with a lot of gaps (like #120898, #103151, #14715, #126656, #27659, #84620, etc.). This type of bracelet usually takes a lot less time (and string) to finish, since they require less knots than other pattern types (most of those knots really only add to the length of the bracelet, not the width, which makes them faster/easier to complete). You could also just focus on making patterns that you're really familiar with/have memorized (so you don't have to spend time looking back and forth between the pattern and the bracelet), make simple patterns, use patterns with less strings, etc. Good luck!

when it comes to getting out of a slump for me it’s best to not force it, even though you’re on a time crunch, start slow and work back up to where you were before!
