i'm making a normal bracelet and one of the strings snapped. it strings now is super short and i can't barely tie anything to it. what should i do?

You can tape a new piece of string to something under your bracelet (clipboard, bin etc) like you are adding string to an alpha although this is a normal pattern and just start working on your pattern and when you are done you can cut off any excess string in the back. It will stay on your pattern since it is knotted into it.

If you know how to make alpha bracelets, you can use the same method for adding strings just by taping a new string down and knotting it into the bracelet while tucking the short string behind the bracelet.

I used to pull my strings so tight I would snap them.
