HELP! I always make my base strings way too long but now I made a bracelet and my strings are too short. How can I fix this without destroying the entire bracelet? Thank you in advance!!

ive done this before. grab the same color base string you had and cut the length you want to add and just tie it. make a really tight knot maybe use some glue to secure it. and cut the excess string from the knot so it’s not too visible

It’s the worst when that happens though, especially if you really like how the bracelet is turning out. I always cut 4-6 inches more than I think I’ll need to insure that I never have to add more length to my base strings 😊

Hi!
This happens to me quite a lot in normal bracelets. If I see that a string is getting very short, I try to replace it before I get close to the end. If you don't know how to replace a string, then I do it like I was adding a new colour to an alpha. I think that Masha Knots had a video on it. 😊

Sometimes don't do ties, I just leave my remaining string because ties shorten the length of string slightly. I only do this is the string is long enough to tie it around my wrist.

Sometimes I have to cut the bracelet a bit short if all of my strings are getting short.

I hope that this helps! Feel free to ask if you have any questions 😄
