By being active on the site such as rating patterns, posting photos, using the chat, doing variations, adding To-Do's etc... 🙂

Wondering the same thing, i made a bracelet and tried to rate the pattern afterwards but it wouldn’t allow me because I don’t have the rank for it :/

I joined up a couple of months ago, I’ve submitted a couple of variations for review and I’ve saved a ton of patterns to my to-do list which I’m planning to have a go at. I’ve not made bracelets in several years so I’m pretty much back to basics for a while whilst I improve my knotting (so I’m able to take on some of the more advanced patterns again).Now I think it’s just a waiting game and seeing if/where I can help in the forums with my limited knowledge and experience so far 🙂. Hang in there. It will happen! |

Just by being somewhat active on Bracelet Book will bring up your rank, but adding to-dos, rating patterns, adding friends, creating patterns and variations, staying active in the chat or in the forum will help you rank up faster.

@altopride It all depends on how active you are. I ranked up to advanced within 2 weeks then skiller not long after.

How do I know what my rank is? And also, how do I know what new things I can do with each rank? I just got a notification saying that my rank went up but I don't know what that means, or what I am able to do now!

@N_Silvers Your rank shows up under your user name when you post in the forums and on your profile. The higher rank you are, the more patterns/variations you can create per day, and be able to request friends.

@N_Silvers I think the higher rank you are the faster the moderators will see when you submit stuff, but I might be wrong. Also, @altopride it really depends on how active you are, if you log on everyday and rate patterns and add patterns to your to do list every day then you will rise in ranks much faster. I ranked up to advanced like within a week or maybe even less of making my account and then it took me maybe a month or a little longer to become skiller and like maybe two months or a little longer to become professional. It’s really just about the amount of time you want to invest.

I was a beginner and to rise my rank I added a bunch of variations to a bunch of different bracelets and that really helped.

Hey, I'm new here, but I'm using a page since over a year now.I wanted to add some patterns to my to-do list to not have to search for them again later, but the side shows error 403. Anyone had similar problem and maybe can help me out? 🙄 I'll be super grateful. |
