Ok, hi i am making a wall-hanging and i made a mistake, so i untied row but 🤔the problem is higher. I don't want to untied more knots but i'm afraid it could destroy my work. It is a face of David (pattern 79035). Should I just keep doing it, but not really worrying about it or untied more kntos.

That is up to you. If you think it blends in I would leave it. If it is going to bother you or for someone else I would recommend taking it out but it is really up to you!

In an alpha - could anybody see the mistake at first look -> undo, if not and it doesn't bother you... don't care to long
In a normal... sometimes one mistake messes everything up, so I mostly undo it.

But hey... nobody is perfect and art isn't either.

If it’s a really big mistake I would undo it, but if it’s really small I would just leave it, especially if you have to unpick a lot of rows to get to it. In regards to next time, I would also try to spot the mistake quicker; I like to check my string count and knot count frequently so that I can fix any small problems quickly. Checking these usually is a foolproof way to find mistakes because most problems relate to the string and knot counts. Hope this helps!

show it to someone else and ask them if they see anything wrong with it. if they can't tell, then it's fine to leave it. but if they say it's obvious, you might decide to try and fix it. either way it's up to you in the end.

Like other people said, if it doesn’t bother you too much then leave it. Someone (can’t remember who) made a tutorial on YouTube about fixing alphas with mistakes in them further up. I’ll try and see if I can find the link
