So I want to make pattern #99046 and I want to make a loop like the person that posted their bracelet under the pattern but I’m just confused on how they did it because there are 10 base strings and 1 extra for knotting Over the base strings so how do I do that with the loop because I can’t just do 11/2

You could use the technique MashaKnots explains in her video on making loops with odd numbers of strings and split one of the base strings in half so you can loop it around a base string that you haven't split in half.

Yeah divide the number of base strings by 2, then cut those double the length of your bracelet and add some for ties. Then take one of the strings, tie a hitch knot, and do fb and bf knots for however long you want to make your loop
