Help locating a pattern.

I found a pattern online so wrote it down to make and ran into an issue (2 colors don't show up). Now I can't find the pattern online . How do I locate a pattern based on 6 colors, 12 strings, 10 rows and string order of A B F C E D D E C F B A ? I'm not sure where I found the pattern at could be from here or another place online. I can also take a pic of the pattern I wrote down if that would help.Than you for any help. Darla |

I think it would be useful, if you could describe the pattern in more details.12 strings and 6 colours is very common for normal patterns. Filtering by amounts of rows is not possible on here. You could for example put a link to the photo of the pattern or put the photo as your profile picture. |

I've put picture of pattern as well as the start of bracelet using pattern as profile picture.If I'm not going to be able to see all 6 colors I don't want to waste my floss by continuing. So, wanted to find pattern online to make sure I didn't write it down wrong. Thanks for any advice or help. |

Have you tried putting the pattern into the generator yet? If there is a pattern with the exact same knotting structure, the generator will tell you that this pattern already exists and which number it is.In the generator you'll also be able to see, if all colours will show up eventually. As far as I can tell based on what you knotted so far, the pattern will probably just keep repeating and all colours won't show up, but I would have to look at the pattern more carefully to determine that. If the colours indeed don't all show, for patterns similar to this one it's very easy to make adjustments that will make the bracelet gradually shift through all colours. |

Ok, I put it in the generator. It already exists as pattern #16089.Based on what you have knotted so far, you seem to have made a mistake somewhere, but I think, if you continue based on the pattern from now on, you should be fine and all colours will show 😄 |

Thank you.. now I know why page was tore out of notebook as im new to reading patterns and unsure how to continue when ending pattern string color layout doesn't match beginning string color layout.I did try pattern generator and it wouldn't let me do anything. But im on cell as laptop isn't working. Thank you again. 👍 👍 👍 👍 |
