something that has helped me so much is tape, tape, and more tape!! when you start the bracelet make sure you tape it down and then use tape every inch or so of bracelet. it makes your bracelet much straighter and makes the stitches look more in line

Something you can do is try your best to make your knots around the same size and tightness so you do not warp your bracelet

I have noticed my bracelets started looking better after analyzing my knots. There are so many things that can help you make your bracelet look professional and practice doesn’t really help much when you don’t know what to practice. There are many ways to start your bracelets and they can make your bracelets look really nice. I recommend watching bracelet start types on YouTube and making bracelets with different starts and practice making them. They’re fun and can really help your bracelets look nicer.I think tape is really helpful for keeping your bracelets straight but i also recommend getting a clipboard and just moving your bracelet up because tape can sometimes be too sticky and make the strings on your bracelet look all fuzzy. When actually making the bracelets I recommend trying to learn how to segment knot as this will make it faster and can sometimes make a pattern look neater. If you do this your edges should come out straight but don’t worry about them too much because some patterns will still turn out a bit bumpy on the edges no matter what you try but do practice the way you pull your knots. What helps me is making the first half of the knot tight and the second knot loose and then pulling it down. You should also try learning different types of bracelets ties. They can also make your bracelets look nicer and it’s fun to try something new. Overall, try new things and techniques when making bracelets and keep practicing the way you make your knots ^_^

Try looking at your knot tension. Keep it even like most said, but also find the right tension for you!! Keep doing the more simple patterns while you’re figuring it out. Something that helped me out was printing out the patterns so I can mark each row as I knot it- that helped me not get lost!

Try using flat alpha and straight edge techniques . Try to make loose knots and keep them all the same size. 😉
