What’s the best string brand you guys use? Also, I’m just starting alphas, do people typically use the same brand of string for the base strings and the leading string or do people use a different/ thicker string brand for base strings. Thanks!

For alphas I usually use crochet thread as base string. Usually a size 3 I think.

Most people use dmc embroidery thread I personally think it’s the best but there are other brands I like. Also I have heard people use crochet thread for base strings and use embroidery thread to make the alpha
