Hey, I am stuck I can not figure out how long to make any of the strings on pattern #38672. Can anyone tell me how long to make the base strings and how long to make the white and blue strings please.Thank You! 🙂 |

The base strings need to be the length of the bracelet plus some extra for loops and ties.For a bracelet you would need the string to reach around your wrist and have enough extra to make the ties. Once you knotted an alpha, you can also take that alpha and measure how long for example ten rows are and use this number to calculate how long for example 75 rows would be. For the leading strings it's difficult to estimate. I recommend to just leave the strings on the skein and cut them in the end. |
