its actually easier to make wallhangings/keychains with an odd number of strings! you attach even number of strings (for 48 base strings in your case you need 24 strings bc you fold them in half) on your dowel with a lark knot and then you attach your leading string to the dowel with a lark knot as well, so you have your 49th string + leading string on to the dowel.for visual aid you can refer to Masha Knots' tutorial: https://youtu.be/qkAAwgnkWEo |
