Uneven Alphas

When I make alphas they look fine and the knots are even they’re just longer than they are wide. I have recently made a couple patterns that have circles and they come out as long ovals. Any recommendations for how to avoid this?

hi this happened to me to i tried making my knots tighter and it worked better for me but good luck

@idkemma you only need to tags someone if they are not the original poster. The original poster gets a notification anyways.There are some things you could try -doubling your base strings or using thicker base strings to make the knots wider -knotting a little looser to make the knots wider -pushing the knots up after each row you knotted using a ruler or something similar to make the knots less tall |
