Hello! I have been trying to make some variations. I go into the pattern then press the button that says "add a variation" and it takes me to the Generator. Then it says at the top that its already a pattern and I have to make a variation. Is that normal?Sorry if its not clear what I'm asking its a little hard to explain. onaipdance |

yes that is normal! from there, change the colors and/or string order if you’re making a variation of a normal pattern and click save and test. once you submit your variation, it will be added as a variation of that pattern because the generator automatically recognizes patterns with the exact same knot structure as variations.
