Every pattern has a number for each column

I use a piece of duck tape and cut an arrow out and stick it on next to the row I’m on, that way I can use the pattern again without printing out a new pattern

Sometimes when I stop I’ll make a note on my phone if what row I’m on (mostly when I haven’t printed the pattern out) but normally I just use a pencil. However, it can be easier to tell where you are if you segment knot

What I normally do is I scroll down after I finish one layer and always do the layer at the top. It works well for me because I'm on the computer.

I usually write down the number of the row I left off at on my clipboard or if you're viewing from your phone it helps to keep it in your Notes. For really difficult and long patterns I prefer to print them out so I can mark off what was done or even cover up the rows I haven't gotten to.If you haven't gotten too far along in the pattern (and can not place which row you were on no matter what) you can also decide to chop it off and start over, or open up all the knots which sucks. 😢 |

I use my computer and scroll down every row I finish. Hope that helped!

I’m sure a lot of people already said it, but what I do is take a screenshot and then edit that row out after I complete it🙂

What I do is I print my pattern out and use a peice of washi tape. Every time I finish a row I move the tape down

I do what @cgrace270 does, and I also sometimes print the pattern out and put a check mark next to each row, then when I go back to the top of the pattern I make a different looking check mark

I print the pattern and either mark the rows with a pen or something, or use a second piece of paper that I move down everytime I finish one of the rows. If I take a break I tape the paper down on its last position with washi tape

I usually print my pattern so I can just look at the paper. But what I do to remember is i put another peice of paper on top of it and I lower it a row after every row. If I forget to do that then I look at the pattern and try to figure it out.

I use a little scrap book in which I write the lines of the pattern. As soon as I’m finished with one row I cross it off.

Screen shot it and then use the markup feature to cross the completed rows out

I print my patterns and use two mini canvases or something similar to cover all but the row I’m on

I just keep saying the row number in my head as I’m doing the knots on my bracelet

When I finish a row, I put a little mark next to or over the number, and then do that until I reach the bottom of my pattern. When I go to the top of the pattern, I make a different looking mark. I keep doing that until the bracelet is done. Does that make sense?

I always print out my patterns! I usually never remake a pattern twice but if I do I use pencil and cross out each row/knot I do! It is very time consuming but it always is worth it!

Another method is that I always work on a klip board and between the board and my bracelet I have a coloured shred of paper that I can see all strings good and then when I stop making a pattern for the day I take a pensil and write down the # and the row I have to make next. So the next time I erase it and then write what is the new row
