Hey guys!! So I’m in a pickle currently I have mastered the basics, candystripe and chevron, so basically all of the knots!! Yay! But I do have a problem which is I’m stuck, let me explain I don’t know what to do next, what patterns etc… am I ready for alphas? Am I ready for the dove tail, starburst, aztec, arrowhead etc… ant help for me would be greatly appreciated! I really need basic patterns that are easy to segment knot, cause I wanna learn that and easy to memorize. If you could please answer my questions and give tips I would love that. I also would like pattern numbers in order of what to do them!! Etc.. really any info is helpful! Thanks!!!

I think an arrowhead bracelet would be a good next step because then you can practice fb and bf knots too. Alternatively you could knot one where the same diamond repeats and the colours don't progress.

Dovetail bracelets are also great because there are only f and b knots

Other good beginner patterns would be braid, polkadot candystripe or chevron, hearts, fishbone chevron (good for practicing fb and bf knots)

Aztec might be a bit too complex because it has more different steps.

Starburst unless you do a mini starburst would probably be too big. Mini starburst might still be a bit complex.

Alphas are not more difficult than normals, they're just different. I think you could definitely try one. I recommend 2 or 3 colours and not more than 10 strings. A good pattern to practice colour switches is the rag rug bracelet.

Or #2772 if you don’t want to do fb and bf knots
