I haven't used them personally, but I have seen many people recommend Loops & Threads.I use Amazon embroidery floss and it works well for me, plus it's cheap and available in bulk. |

I use them as they are the cheapest option in bulk for me (I can't order too much from Amazon and Michaels is the only store in my area selling embroidery floss). I like loops and threads however I prefer DMC, my knots are smaller with this brand than with DMC. You can defitely work with it though.

I really like loops and threads, especially the craft coord if you have the chance to use it because it does not come apart.

@Chillq, I love loops and threads! It's really the only brand I can buy in packs where I live (and even then the closest Michaels is 5 hours away from me). I find it makes pretty even knots as long as I'm paying attention and making sure my knots are all the same size if I use different brands of thread in a project. Different packs have different colors though, so while it may seem that there aren't a whole lot of color gradients in one pack, you can probably find more to add to a gradient in other packs.

This is really a debate. Loops and threads is good for beginners and novice makers. I suggest DMC because the results of your knotting are a lot better.

I use that bran all the time and so far it’s has been good. I definitely prefer the brand loops and thread than a lot of brands. So I would have to say the brand is really good especially for making alphas.
