I want to do pattern #50694 but I don't know how long the strings should be. 🙈 It's my first Alpha pattern

I'm currently not home so I can't check, but I think for me 5 rows are about 1cm long. You can use that to calculate the length of the base strings you need. For the base strings you always need the length of the bracelet plus some extra for ties. If you want to make something that is regular bracelet length I usually do around 85 rows. For the leading strings I recommend to just leave them on the skein and cut them in the end. |
