I was just wondering how long the strands would have to be just a guesstimate and how would you go about keeping the string from tangling

What is a handwriting rope? Personally I don't know much about rope making and especially not about handwriting ropes 😅 I think I've seen a rope being made at a historical market and I might have seen a documentary on metal ropes, but I'm not sure if you'll find an expert on rope making on here. A rope making technique familiar to most friendship bracelets creators are twisted ties. It's a two-strand rope, but I don't know how to make ropes with more than two strands. Here is a tutorial on that technique https://www.braceletbook.com/tutorials/73_two-minute-twisted-bracelet/ It's often used for the ties in a bracelet as an alternative to braided ties. When making twists like that, you don't use up a lot of string. |

Was supose to say hand binding it's for a wedding and it's not exactly rope I want to have most of it done friendship bracelet style with kuhihimo braids on ends

That sounds like a really nice idea!Do you have any pattern in mind that you want to do or do you just plan to do something single colored. Depending on what you do, you'll need different amounts of strings if certain strings are used more or less. |
