In general the advice would be to not pull as hard. Important is that you do it consistently. The first half of a knot determines its placement, the second secures it in place. |

If you want your knots to be looser, here's a few general rules to keep in mind for normal and alpha bracelets:-Dont make the first half of the knot too lose. That half determines where the knot is placed, so if you make it too lose, you might end up having visible holes in your bracelet. -If you tie it too tight, sometimes a string might "pop" and you'll see the underlying color, which isn't what you want. In that case, you simply pull on the string that's peeking through and it'll fix itself! -You'll probably end up using more string if your knots get looser, so I recommend cutting a bit more than you would to see how much you'll really need. |

My advice is too tie the first part of the knot tight and the second part very loose. This will make sure your bracelet doesn’t have holes. Also if you are having problems with colors poking through I recommend that when you tie the first part of the knot you go very slow. That way you can know how tight is too tight before colors poke through. I hope this made sense. Have a great day! 😁
