hi!it's awesome you want to get started making wallhangings! here are a few recommendations to get you started and practicing: #113553 #108184 #105126 #95553 #91123 here's some advice that I wish I had when I started making wallhangings: 1. Def start small and easy! 2. Your first (or first few) wallhangings will probably not look great, but don't give up! You'll for sure get better 3. Make sure you count your strings correctly before you start. It SUCKS starting one to realize you can't finish it due to a wrong amount of strings. 4. When starting, maybe start with patterns with as few colors as possible, so you get used to the feeling of knotting in bigger rows without having to worry too much about switching. |

Hi! I have only made one wallhanging before but I know that it can be tricky without tips. I did pattern #55529 and here are some things I learned-1. Do the wallhanging on something straight, like a d ring or a skewer 2. Keep the same tension with all of your knots 3. Be careful with color switches so that you keep them all neat and straight Good luck! |
