I'm not sure what you mean. To me your alphas look really nice!If you mean that if there is a square in the pattern, it turns into a rectangle, then you could experiment with knot tension and the thickness of the base strings. |

I agree your alphas do look nice but using different strings or not having a consistent knot tension can affect that. Try to keep a consistent knot tension and use the same brand of strings.❤️😁
