so i want to to a bracelet with a teardrop loop. i already know how it's done, but i'm not sure about the length of the strings. so if usually each string is approximately one meter long, if you do this loop, should be each string two meters long?

There’s a formula to get the right string length but I’ve heard most people cut their strings one meter or a wingspan length and then they fold it in half. For your string you’re using as the loop make sure they are longer than the others

The strings that are just their should be the same length, the string that you want the teardrop to be shout probably be 3 feet long/half a meter? (Sorry, I don’t use the metric system)

I usually add about 6 inches of extra thread. It always works well.

The colour in which you would like the loop to be cut that string around a foot longer. Then find the centre and start the bracelet a little bit further back than the centre. Do forward backward knots until you have finished the length that you want your loop.
