So my problem is that in my alpha bracelet that I make right now, I noticed that there is an extra string, but I counted the strings and It's 13 (the alpha pattern is also has 13 base strings) I don't really know what I'm doing wrong.

Are any of your active strings the same color as your base strings so that you could have accidentally use as a base string?

Or you could have possibly skipped a knot.

hey! the pattern says it requires 13 strings because it counts the string you are knotting with but it actually only requires 12 base strings if you count it. It can be a bit confusing so I normally check the Dimensions or just count it out on the pattern. Hope this helps!

I am trying to make my first alpha and it is so hard to do it. The instructions won't fit in the page and it says something about it being 50 LINES 🤯 😭 . I am doing this for school and it has to be done by at least January 10. Can you please help me?

@Idefixbook I already replied on another forum topic, but I would recommend starting a new topic or posting on a topic that is directly related to what you want to ask. This way it is more likely that people who might know the answer are going to see your post.

@nienkexm on the website, there are tutorials for both reading normal and alpha patterns. on youtube there are plenty of tutorials that are easy to find. if you want more details, id suggest creating a new topic in one of the forum threads.
