you can use backward and forward knots one after the other, until your desired length. if you don't know how to make the sorts of knots, there are tutorials on knotting. I would also recommend consulting your sister on the technique to do the loop. the regular loop is very similar to the Chinese staircase, so it similarly looks very interesting with multicolor thread. if you are wondering how to make ties, it's just a very simple braid or twist. |
