How do I tell what is a front and back knot and stuff?? Please tell me the basics I am having trouble.

Think of it as reading a book. You read to the right, so the arrow going right is forward, while the one going left is backward. For a forward backward knot, the first little line is going right so you'll do one forward knot and then the line connected to arrow head part would be going left so you would do a backward knot. opposite for a backward forward

If you are on the app you can visit the tutorials section and one of the very first tutorials posted is how to do the different bracelet knots. If you're able to visit the website you can hover over the knots in the pattern to see a diagram for knotting or you can view the videos on knots and reading patterns at the top of each pattern. It's a little difficult to explain with just words.
