I just got into bracelet making and I just don’t know where to start and what’s considered easy. Do I start by learning how to do a specific type of bracelet? If you can, pls link some tutorials and guides on any bracelet or keychain related things.

i would recommend the chevron bracelet as the first stepping stone. it’s pattern #2 on here. there are a plethora of tutorials online that you can find. i would use that bracelet or get used to the knots if you aren’t already. i would recommend masha knots bc she was the one who really got me into bracelet making and taught me about alphas and special techniques and reading patterns. i’ve also heard that kinseyb and alexs innovations also tremendously helped, i can’t give you as much though about them because i’ve never watched them. if you have already made a few and think you know the knots, maybe try the arrowhead, which is #18 on bracelet book. it introduces the backwards-forward knot and the forward-backwards knot. from there, perhaps you could learn alphas once you’ve gotten comfortable. for alphas, id recommend picking an alpha about 10-20 strings. 20 may be a lot though, so 15 might be better. and with 3 colors. id also recommend the flat alpha technique which you can find many tutorials for online. from there, id say that you should try out things for urself and see what you do and don’t like to make. good luck and feel free to message me if you have any questions or concerns!

If you are on the website, there are two videos linked with each pattern that I think include everything you need and also mention other helpful videos.

As a first nornmal pattern I recommend pattern #1 or #2. As a first alpha pattern a pattern with up to ten strings but not too many bodies.

@senor said it perfectly! I would recommend pattern #1 people call the candystripe. It just consists of forward knots. #2 is the chevron and consists of forward and backward knots. #18 is also good because you can practice all the basic knots. You can also message me with any questions you have!

@twizzlerz I would also recommend #1, #2, and #18. If you go to youtube, search Masha Knots. She has lots of beginner tutorials, and she is also helpful with learning the basic knots. There are also other youtubers with tutorials. I hope this helps!

Hii welcome to the wonderful world of bracelet making!! I’d recommend by visiting either the video page or YouTube and looking for a good video that explains the basics of bracelet making. alternatively you could find a video on reading patterns as this will be very very helpful later on. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=cwTBtpF0TcE this is a good one my masha knots that also covers segment knotting. if u want to start with something more like bracelets 101 which explains everything u need to know abt bracelets, i would recommend these two videos https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=UYQnqb-20NA

Hi! Welcome to BB! You could start by looking through patterns and finding some that you like. If you are new to bracelet in general, I would suggest easy patterns like: #53435 #2 #96384 #107535
I would also recommend starting with bracelets that don’t have a lot of colors. My to do’s have a lot. Some are beginner friendly, so you could check them out.
When you are advanced, you can friend people. Just go on their profile like @Love_Fox2 and click send request!
Soon you can create your own patterns by going on the toolbar thing, scrolling over your profile and when the thing that says: create patterns, to do’s, loves, and logout pops up, click make patterns and start designing!
You can also make challenges like: I pick from your to do’s! Or, Winter themed challenge! You can also participate in them if you read the rules of the challenge that you want to join.
You can also talk in the chat. Sometimes no one is there, but people are usually talking. You could also advertise a challenge that you make in the chat.
Also, if you ever find someone swearing, or being really rude or creepy, report it to a moderator. All you a have to do is message them about it.
Good luck! Have fun!
