if you're talking about normal patterns I suggest making your knots tight if you're doing alphas I suggest looking at the straight edges technique which Masha Knots has a video on youtube.

I use the straight edge technique which really helps. Also, you can level out your rows with a ruler. This way your lines will be straight. That will help the edges to become straighter and the bracelet will not be uneven.

Mickii16, so when you finish one row, your at the left end right? So if you want a straight edge, all you have to do is do a forward backward knot then do that again to start your next row. Now when you finish another row and you end up on the right end of it, its the same thing, except you do a backward forward knot then do it again for your next row. I hope this helped

hey, I'm not really a newbie , lol, I have been making bracelets for a year but I struggle with straight edges. I made a sunflower alpha and I used the straight edges technique and I moved from knotting on my clipboard to knotting on my thread box and it became off. the worst part it wasn't just my edges it was my knots to.

Are you making two knots (one to start and one to end the row)? If not it'll start to curve because you're missing a knot.
