I have selected pattern number #25463 and it requires 9 strings. I want to start it with a teardrop loop but I don’t know how to with an odd number of strings😬 if anyone knows how to do it or could direct me to a YouTube tutorial, I’d appreciate it so much!!

I did watch her video but it states in the beginning that it only works if there is an even number overall. I might have to try and work out something by myself :/

You can do a regular loop instead of teardrop? I know teardrops look nicer but the normal loop looks just as nice!

Hello! You can do the knot the same way you would do a knot on an Alpha? Also, Masha knots does have a video on how to do a knot with an uneven amount of strings. |

unfortunately, you aren't able to make a loop unless you have an even amount of colors. if you do, look at masha knot's video. it is a complex method of doing so, but an alternative is to not tie a loop in the beginning. there is another method for making the bracelet adjustable without the loop, and its floating on youtube somewhere.

Not for this bracelet, but for some specific bracelets, you can use 10 strings then cut out 1 after you make the loop. It might be lopsided but it could work.

Thank you everyone who gave suggestions. I actually did manage to make a teardrop look with this pattern. I used a similar method to the one in Marsha Knots’ video, but I only folded the strings instead of separating the strands. Thanks again x
