whenever I'm not sure of what pattern to make, I'll go the "challenges" tab of the forums and pick something from there! Theres a ton of different types of challenges- there's a monthly/weekly challenge that Bracelet Book actually hosts! you can pick a pattern from their list of patterns and make one of those, or you can choose something from a user created challenge- most of them are themed, which are fun and good for sparking ideas, but my favs are the ones where people pick a pattern from your to-dos!
